Host/Hostess at New Italian Venue
Location: Midtown West, near Madison Square Garden
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time
Compensation:  $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus tips

About Us: Our hospitality group is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new Italian restaurant this fall. 

Building on the success of our established venues, Juniper and Bourbon & Branch, we are searching for an exceptional Host/Hostess to join our new team and help us create an outstanding dining experience. 

Our new venue will offer a high-energy, casual yet sophisticated bar and dining atmosphere. 

We need someone with an upbeat, friendly personality to be the first to welcome our guests and set the stage for a memorable experience.

Our venue’s prime location near MSG, Penn Station, Hudson Yards, LIRR, and numerous corporate offices, as well as Times Square, makes it a bustling hotspot. 

We seek enthusiastic individuals who thrive under pressure, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and can handle large groups with a smile!

Key Responsibilities:

• Warm Welcome: Be the friendly, inviting presence that sets the tone for our guests' experience.

• Reservation Management: Utilize our reservation system, Resy, to manage guest seating efficiently.

• Guest Comfort: Stay organized in a fast-paced environment while ensuring every guest feels at home and valued.

Qualifications:

• Personality: An upbeat, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.

• Skills: Experience with reservation systems is a plus; ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.

• Appearance: A polished and professional look that complements our venue’s style.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
